The Matcha Top by Sew Liberated is a swingy, easy-to-sew top with a stunning, mandarin-inspired neckline.  Designed to highlight your gorgeous collar bone and draw the eyes up to your face, it leaves your waist free to move around comfortably.

Both sleeveless and sleeved versions feature a unique shoulder construction that visually squares-off and balances your shoulders.  The Matcha hits at the hip and is breastfeeding-friendly.  Show off your favorite bracelets and bangles with the elbow-length, beautifully angled sleeves, and sew up the sleeveless version to pair perfectly with a cardigan or jean jacket, making it an essential all-season pattern.

Each pattern features an instruction booklet and pattern pieces printed on thick paper, enclosed in a lightweight, full-color cardboard box.

Sew Liberated began in a drafty adobe house on a street without a name in rural northern Mexico in 2006 by Meg McElwee.  Over the years, Sew Liberated has evolved to focus on slow fashion, sustainability, and mentoring women to look at their sewing as a practice of self-care.  We believe that the act of making one’s own clothes can be transformative, personally and on a global scale, when done through the lens of sustainable fashion.
