This delicate linen fine knit from Danish manufacturer mind the MAKER is soft and airy, and semi-translucent.  It does stretch slightly due to the knitting, but like other 100% linen fabrics does not have recovery during wear.  Due to shrinkage potential, this fabric is highly recommended for washing before use, on the most delicate cycle, and laid as flat as possible for drying.  Do not hang dry.  This fabric is best cut flat (not doubled) in order to clearly see the grain line.

This fabric is certified according to European Flax® standard, and is OEKO-TEX certified for the dying process.   Certified European Flax® fiber is produced exclusively in France, Belgium, or the Netherlands.  The EUROPEAN FLAX® Charter, signed by all the Flax producers, guarantees local farming that respects the environment and commits to zero irrigation, zero GMO, and zero waste.  Fiber extraction (scutching) is 100% mechanical meaning zero chemicals are used in the process.
