Part of the “Warp & Weft Heirloom” yarn-dyed collection designed by Alexia Abegg for Ruby Star Society in collaboration with Moda Fabrics.  The Warp & Weft Heirloom collection expands upon the original “Warp & Weft” collection’s color palette, and adds to the library of woven textures.  While creating this group, “Alexia thought of traveling to the beach – vintage striped towels, breezy coverups, even woven beach chairs – and that feeling you get when you can’t quite see the ocean yet but you know you’re close.”  This 100% cotton is a light shirting weight, and has a background of deep navy, with narrow red, ochre, and denim blue stripes each offset with white.

Ruby Star Society starts with five women working collaboratively and supportively to design delightful, beautiful fabrics, and it continues with you: Every person who has looked at a wall stacked high with bolts of fabric and felt that first spark of inspiration, imagination swirling, colors calling, all promise and possibility.
