Part of the “Rise” collection designed by Melody Miller for Ruby Star Society in collaboration with Moda Fabrics, this print was imagined during a “personal 100-day drawing challenge,” where Melody “found a new voice in her drawing style.”   The Rise collection “celebrates growth and making space for change.”  This high-quality quilting weight cotton is heavier than a traditional poplin, making it perfect for garments where crispness is wanted, and has a good drape.   This semi-opaque cotton has a background of deep peacock with gold sparkles, and has both a wide floral border and more narrow floral border, in shades of pink, gold, orange, and blue.

Ruby Star Society starts with five women working collaboratively and supportively to design delightful, beautiful fabrics, and it continues with you: Every person who has looked at a wall stacked high with bolts of fabric and felt that first spark of inspiration, imagination swirling, colors calling, all promise and possibility.
